Our Church & Founding Pastor

In October 2000, a week before her initial sermon at Faith Baptist Church in Gibsonville, North Carolina, the Lord revealed to Pastor Annette Dickens tht the name of the ministry He had for Deacon K. Leon Dickens and herself would be "My Faith Looks Up To Thee Ministries."

On Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, My Faith Looks Up To Thee Ministries held its first worship service in Stouffer Hall, located on the campus of Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum (Sedalia, North Carolina). Our Story

On April 7, 2010, My Faith Looks Up To Thee Ministries began holding Bible Study at the Comfort Suires (Sedalia, North Carolina), and the first worship service was on April 11, 2010. In 2011, we held our first Church Anniversary at Faith Baptist Church and our first Pastoral Anniversary at Stouffer Hall.

In October 2011, after one and a half years at Comfort Suites, My Faith Looks Up To Thee Ministries moved into its new church home. Pastor Matthew Clapp of The New Way Church offered and renovated one of his buildings in Whitsett, North Carolina, where we currently worship and have fellowship.

My Faith Looks Up To Thee Ministries is a small church with a big heart for God! We desire that more people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As disciples of Chris and guided by the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the Good News and minister to human needs in the name of Christ at home and abroad in Jamaica, which is the fifth-largest island in the Caribbean, and Ghana, West Africa. In addition, we promote Christian living and share our love for God and our neighbors through separate conferences for both men and women, feeding the homeless, our sick and prison ministries, "Family and Friends Day", worship services, and spending quality time together.

God has truly blessed My Faith Looks Up To Thee Ministries. We are committed to the Great Commandment of Jesus - to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:34-40)
